Orlando HomeVestors and Habitat for Humanity Collaborate to Build Inaugural Volunteer House

ORLANDO (May 2024) – In a heartwarming collaboration, a dedicated group of local HomeVestors volunteers teamed up with Habitat for Humanity Orlando & Osceola to support the construction of the organization’s first-ever Volunteer House. Spearheaded by local HomeVestors franchisee Bernardo Mazzucco, the initiative marked a significant milestone in their ongoing commitment to community welfare.

Mazzucco, whose association with Habitat for Humanity dates back to 2021 when one of his projects earned the title of The Ugliest House Of The Year®, led the team with enthusiasm as they worked on framing the house, effortlessly bringing it to life.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the project, Mazzucco stated, “While we provided a monetary donation, our eagerness to physically contribute to the construction process as a team was unmatched. Supporting Habitat for Humanity’s vision aligns perfectly with our values, and I am immensely proud of the impact we are making together.”

Originally from Venezuela, Mazzucco shared his journey of resilience since relocating to Central Florida in 2018. Despite facing challenges, he remains committed to building a better future for his family in the United States.
