Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County Partner with Local Builders for Builders Blitz 2025

Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County, in partnership with Park Square Homes and PCL Construction, marked the completion of Builders Blitz 2025 by welcoming two families into their future residences in Kissimmee. This two-week initiative underscored the strength of community collaboration in tackling the housing crisis.

“Habitat Orlando & Osceola is driven by a belief that everyone deserves a stable, affordable place to live,” Catherine Steck McManus, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County said. “We thank our partners Park Square Homes and PCL Construction for continuing to help us Face The Housing Crisis. Congratulations to our future homeowners who put in the hard work to achieve their goal of homeownership!”

A Swift Build with a Lasting Impact

Builders Blitz 2025 commenced on January 23 and concluded just two weeks later with a heartfelt home dedication ceremony. This marks the 11th year Park Square Homes and the 4th year PCL Construction, along with more than 50 subcontractors and vendors, have contributed labor and materials to build homes with Habitat Orlando & Osceola.

This year’s project benefited two hardworking local families:

  • Quarlisa, who works at a local jail, will become the owner of the home constructed by Park Square Homes. She will live there with her 10-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter. “My vision for the future is to enjoy the rest of my life watching my children really grow and be happy with what they accomplish. This home will help me create it,” she said.

Park Square Homes, a dedicated supporter of Habitat Orlando & Osceola, remains focused on creating sustainable housing solutions.

“We are honored to partner with Habitat Orlando & Osceola’s mission for the past 11 years. In the spirit of community and working together, there is a future where everyone can have a secure and comfortable place to call home,” Suresh Gupta, Co-CEO of Park Square Homes and former Habitat Orlando & Osceola board member said.

  • Tannique, a military reservist and call center employee, will take ownership of the home built by PCL Construction, where she will reside with her toddler son and mother. “To me, my home is a sanctuary—a place where I can build a strong foundation for my family,” she shared.

PCL Construction is proud to support families like Tannique’s in achieving homeownership.

“As Builders Blitz 2025 comes to an end, we are excited to have partnered with Habitat Orlando & Osceola to support Tannique in building her home. Events like these build community and hope, and we are proud of our 20-plus year partnership in supporting efforts to make stable homes a reality for many families,” Dominic Gundacker, Manager, Special Projects, PCL Construction said.
